FAQ
Why coconut soy sunflower wax?
We use a coconut soy sunflower wax blend because it melts smoothly and holds fragrance really well. It’s also paraffin-free, which is what we wanted for Bird Brain from the start.
How many egg melts should I use at a time?
Start with 2–3 eggs and adjust from there depending on the size of your warmer and how strong you like your fragrance. A little goes a long way, so you can always add another egg later!
How long do the egg melts last?
Fragrance strength will vary by scent, warmer, and room size, but you can usually remelt the same wax several times before the scent starts to fade. Once you can barely smell it anymore, it’s time for a fresh batch.
How do I remove the old wax from my warmer?
Let the wax cool completely first. Depending on your warmer, you can usually pop the hardened wax out. Check the instructions for your specific warmer if you’re still not sure.
What kind of warmer should I use?
Our egg melts can be used in wax warmers made for scented wax. Electric warmers and tealight warmers can both work, but always follow the safety instructions that came with your warmer and never leave it unattended.
